Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Soreyn on all supported platforms. By using Soreyn, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Agreement and Eligibility
By creating an account, accepting these Terms, or using Soreyn, you form a legally binding agreement with Soreyn. You represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and that your use of the service complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
2. Apple Standard End User License Agreement
Your use of the iOS and watchOS application is licensed to you subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms supplement and incorporate Apple’s Standard EULA. In the event of any direct conflict, these Terms control to the extent of the inconsistency.

SOREYN IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. All information, metrics, sensor readings, calculations, and estimates—including heart rate, calories, blood oxygen, respiratory rate, speed, pace, distance, and elevation—are intended solely for personal fitness and recreational tracking. They must not be used to diagnose, monitor, manage, or treat any medical condition, illness, or cardiovascular irregularity. GPS signals and hardware sensors are subject to environmental deviations, motion artifacts, and calculation errors. Always consult a qualified physician or healthcare provider before beginning, changing, or intensifying any exercise program. If you experience chest pain, dizziness, nausea, or shortness of breath, stop exercising immediately and contact emergency medical services.
4. Safe Outdoor Activity and User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your personal safety, physical health, and well-being during all activities. Always remain fully aware of your surroundings, traffic, trail conditions, pedestrians, weather, and terrain. Do not interact with the app, adjust settings, or view screens when doing so is hazardous or impairs your attention. You assume all risks associated with your athletic activities and outdoor navigation.
5. Account Security and Acceptable Use
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to misuse Soreyn, reverse engineer or tamper with the application, introduce malicious software, disrupt system infrastructure, probe security vulnerabilities, or use the service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
6. Limited License and Intellectual Property
Subject to these Terms, Soreyn grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the app on authorized devices. All rights, title, and interest in and to Soreyn—including its software, user interface, branding, designs, algorithms, and logos—remain the exclusive property of Soreyn and its licensors.
7. Data Purpose and Privacy Boundaries
Your location and activity records are captured solely to provide workout tracking, metrics calculations, and route visualisations that you initiate. To administer service quotas, billing cycles, and free-tier activity allowances, Soreyn may record aggregate activity counts and monthly cycle timestamps associated with your user account. Detailed workout routes, GPS coordinates, and health measurements are maintained strictly on your device. Our data handling practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You retain ownership of personal notes and content you create within Soreyn.
8. Service Availability and Third-Party Services
Soreyn integrates with select third-party platforms and infrastructure providers—including Apple Health, Apple Maps, WeatherKit, cloud authentication services, and in-app purchase receipt verification services (such as RevenueCat) to validate subscription entitlements. All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed securely through Apple’s App Store. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability of external services. Map imagery, route elevation data, and weather forecasts may contain discrepancies or become temporarily unavailable.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOREYN IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, SYSTEM INTEGRATION, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SOREYN WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OR OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERRORS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOREYN AND ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, NOR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PHYSICAL INJURY, ACCIDENT, OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE SOREYN, INCLUDING SENSOR INACCURACIES OR OUTDOOR HAZARDS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
11. Account Termination and Deletion
You may terminate your agreement with Soreyn at any time by deleting your account through the app (Account & Profile > Delete Account) and removing the application from your devices. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Soreyn if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the service, or if required by law or security necessity.
12. Updates, Severability, and Contact
We may modify these Terms periodically. Continued use of Soreyn following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance. If any provision is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Questions regarding these Terms can be submitted via Soreyn Support. The current version published at soreyn.orionthcomp.tech/terms controls and takes precedence over prior copies.
13. Apple WeatherKit Attribution & Data Sources
Weather information displayed in Soreyn is powered by Apple Weather. In compliance with Apple WeatherKit attribution requirements, users can inspect all meteorological agencies, weather models, and data source licensing terms directly on Apple’s legal attribution portal.
